The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo will offer two graduate programs starting fall 2023.
Because all AUB Mediterraneo programs are cohort-based, we admit students only once a year, in the fall term.
Requirements for admission to graduate programs at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo are as follows:
- Official transcripts from all institutions attended providing a complete record of study
- Two recommendation letters
- English language requirement (upon admission and prior to matriculation)
- Statement of Purpose
English Language Requirement
Master's applicants can demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting satisfactory and valid scores from one of several tests. A score is considered satisfactory if it meets or exceeds the minimum requirement (see below) set by the American University of Beirut.

Note: GRE and GMAT exam are not part of the admission requirements; however, may be used to meet the English language requirement.
All graduate applicants are requested to demonstrate English language proficiency as soon as possible after receiving their admissions decision from AUB Mediterraneo.
Exemptions:
Graduate applicants who have graduated from AUB or from a recognized college or university in US/UK/Canada/Australia/New Zealand are exempted from the English Language Requirement
